2. Basic ID documents — a government-issued ID, Social Security card, or any paperwork your caseworker has helped you gather.
3. A point of contact — either you directly, or your caseworker who can communicate on your behalf throughout the process.

You don't need to have everything perfect before reaching out. We'll tell you exactly what's needed once we connect.

Finding the Right Apartment for Your Situation

Once we know your situation — your voucher type, borough preference, household size, and any specific needs — we start looking. We don't send you a list of random listings. We find apartments that are already inspected, move-in ready, and matched to what you actually need.

This part of the process can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks depending on availability. We stay in contact throughout and let you know as soon as something is ready to view.

At the same time, we start pulling together the paperwork.
